Unlimited Products To Sell on eBay? – eBay Trading Assistant

So you’re just getting started to sell on eBay. You have opened up your eBay account and now you need something to sell. Let’s say you’ve already followed my advice to sell what you have around your house. Once you’re done that, you might be stuck, even though your house may be less cluttered. Now what should you do?

It’s important to recognize that the lifeblood of your ebay business is products. If you don’t have any products to sell, then you don’t have an eBay business. You need products. How would you like an unlimited supply?

One great way to obtain unlimited products is to become an eBay Trading Assistant. What is a Trading Assistant? This is someone who helps other people get their items sold on eBay. So if you have and Aunt Gertrude who wants her antiques sold on eBay, you would be a Trading Assistant if you helped her sell them. You, as a Trading assistant, take the pictures and do everything related to selling on eBay. In short, you’re going to “assist” her in every way.

Now since your Aunt Gertrude is family, you would probably do this for free for her. Yet for neighbors in your community, you could do the same thing but charge them a small fee to do it, either a commission on the sale price, or a fixed fee. Or, if you found someone with a lot of products to sell, you could buy their products and resell them yourself.

It’s really that simple to have an unlimited supply of products. Everyone you can think of has something extra cluttering up their house. Why not help them get rid of it (and help yourself in the process)? eBay estimates that most people have over $1000 worth of items around the house that are being unused. You can easily see that tapping into this for just a few people will keep you busy for weeks to come.

Now if you choose to be a Trading Assistant, there are two ways to do it. First, you can do it the “official way” by registering on eBay. This allows you to be listed in the eBay Trading Assistant directory, but in order to do this, you need to meet a few requirements. You need to have a feedback score of 100 with 98% positive feedback, have sold 10 items in the previous 3 months, and have your eBay account in good standing. For more information, you can go to www.tradingassistant.com.

Let’s say you don’t meet all of these requirements. Maybe your feedback score is only 10, but don’t let that stop you. You can still be a trading assistant “unofficially.” eBay isn’t going to stop you from telling your friends and family that you can sell their stuff for them on eBay. The only difference in being “official” and “unofficial” is that you get to use the eBay Trading Assistant logo and you get listed in the Trading Assistant directory. Other than that, it’s up to you to find the people.

A Trading Assistant needs to promote their services in order to find products to sell. You can do this by getting word of mouth buzz happening about you. Make sure that everybody knows what you do. Talk to your friends and neighbors and ask them if they need anything sold on eBay. The more people know about you, the more successful you’ll become. Post flyers. Put an ad in the paper. Whatever you can do to get people aware of you, the better.

There really is no end of products you can sell on eBay. With a little ingenuity, you can be the “go-to” person that takes care of everything eBay related.
